Anna Alfieri started acting at 19 in Milan (Italy), where she trained as a method actress at Teatro Primo Studio for 2 years. She moved to London (aged 21), where she attended Richmond Drama School, and a number of Meisner, Method and film acting classes.
In 2017 she started working on her very own, autobiographical arthouse film, "BORDERLINE".
The film came to life as a way for Anna to cope with her challenging life circumstances at the time. With a gritty non linear narrative, this highly emotional piece is set in London, Paris and South Italy (Puglia), was entirely improvised around a loose 12 pages skeleton and was made with the tiniest budget one could imagine (£10.000).
The film has just been finalised and will be distributed in 2020.
Prior to this she was working as an actress for 8 years, appearing in about 30 productions (film and theatre), with main and supporting roles.
